I just wanted to give you my review of the flapper costume which came in the mail today. I really love this outfit! I got it when it was still listed as a monthly special, so it is a great deal at this price, but still worth full price, I think.

A review of each item:
Dress: very cute and well made. There is a little bit of glitter that comes off of it though. I love the little purple flower and all of the details.
Shoes: I love these! The heels are adorable, but they made standing a little difficult. Camille toppled over a few times already trying to stand in them.
Gloves: These look nice, but they are the only part that seems like they aren't as high quality. The fabric seems like it would stretch out if you pull too hard.
Head band: Very cute, but it seems a little fragile. A younger girl might easily break this part playing with it.
Necklace: So authentic! I like the magnetic clasp as well, it is easy to take on and off. I like that they are moving to the magnetic necklaces. I think the costume looks a little cluttered with it on for some reason though.
Silver bag: This little bag is for trick or treating, I'm guessing, but I think I'm going to put some tissue paper in it and make it a doll sized present!

I love it. I especially love that it is lined. I haven't put it on a doll yet, it is a Christmas present (is it sad that I get my dolls presents?), just looked at it to make sure that all the pieces were there.
I got mine on monthly special plus 10% off, so it was a great deal for the price. I wouldn't have bought it at full price, but I would say it is worth the full price.
How pretty! I don't think I'll get it (I have a lot of the costumes already) but I love how cute your doll looks in it [img]wink.gif[/img]

Oh, I'm wishing I'd bought that costume when it was on sale and with the code. But I had a huge order of short stories and just couldn't spend anymore. Darn budget constraints!!

Ashlea, I am glad you are going to keep this deliciously beautiful doll. She really can be Addy, just with out earrings. Have you thought of calling AG-CS and asking for the earrings as a replacement Part?
You can make your today girl into Addy just like I made my five Addys' into today girls. OMG...I am such a pushover for these dolls!!!!
<font face=garamond size=+1>Awe, thanks! I do think she is going to stay now. I've gotten attached to her and I know why everyone loves this face mold. She looks just like Addy when she wears her dresses, anyway. Who knows, it might even be valuable to have a doll with a PC neck stamp and original AG body tag one day.
Wow! Maybe I'll order that while it's still a monthly special. I just love '20s fashion and everything to do with that era. I enjoyed the History Mystery set in the 1920s "Gangsters at the Grand Atlantic" very much, and I love reading about '20s silent movie actresses such as Clara Bow.
